Legal Information

Privacy Policy

How personal data is used through worker requests, private matching, accounts, candidate review, and service communication.

Development draft: company identity, contacts, retention periods, and legal wording require approval before production.

1. Data Controller

EU Jobs Connect UAB (Demo), Vilnius, Lithuania, is shown as development controller. Replace legal name, registration number, registered address, and real privacy contact before launch. Development contact: privacy@eujobsconnect.example.

2. Information We Collect

Employer and Lead Data

  • Company and contact details.
  • Worker type, count, location, timing, compensation, and requirements.
  • Request, candidate, payment, communication, and account activity.

Worker Data

  • Identity and contact information supplied to account.
  • Skills, experience, location, availability, travel preferences, CVs, and certificates.
  • Invitation responses, candidate status, and account activity.

Technical Data

Security logs, device and request information, consent preferences, and privacy-focused analytics only when analytics permission is granted.

3. Why We Process Data

  • Provide accounts, worker requests, matching, candidate review, payments, and support.
  • Protect accounts, prevent misuse, and maintain audit records.
  • Meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory duties.
  • Send optional marketing only with separate consent.
  • Measure public website use only after analytics consent.

4. Legal Bases

Depending on context, processing relies on steps requested before contract, contract performance, legal obligations, legitimate interests in secure staffing operations, and consent for optional analytics or marketing. Final lawful-basis mapping requires legal review.

5. Matching and Profile Review

Staffing team uses profile and request information for human-led matching. Profile review checks completeness and declared matching information. It does not guarantee identity, background, or credentials unless a separate verification is explicitly confirmed.

6. Candidate Contact Protection

Worker profiles are not public. Employers receive selected candidate information for relevant requests. Contact details remain masked until candidate acceptance and applicable commercial conditions are completed. Access may be logged.

7. Sharing and Service Providers

Data may be processed by hosting, database, email, storage, authentication, payment, security, and consented analytics providers under appropriate agreements. Candidate data is shared with employers only through staffing workflow. A production subprocessor list must be approved before launch.

8. International Transfers

Service supports EU markets. Any transfer outside EEA requires lawful safeguard such as adequacy decision or approved contractual clauses. Production architecture and vendors must be reviewed.

9. Retention

Data is kept only as long as needed for service, legal obligations, dispute handling, and security. Lead continuation links expire after 7 days. Exact retention periods for leads, unsuccessful candidates, accounts, invoices, logs, and enquiries must be approved before production.

10. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent. Contact privacy team through Contact page. Identity may need confirmation. You may also complain to relevant supervisory authority.

11. Security and Changes

Technical and organizational safeguards protect data, but no system is risk-free. Material policy changes will be communicated appropriately. Publish effective date and version before launch.
